ABOUT YOUR GUIDE
Born in Santa Barbara, California, from an American father and a French mother, but raised in Cherbourg, Normandy, my mother's hometown, I got myself interested in History at a very young age.
After a Bachelor Degree in History and Archaeology in the University of Caen, Normandy, I decided in 2018 to follow my mother's footsteps, who is a talented tour guide herself since 2011.
I worked my first season in 2019 for the 75th anniversary of D-Day, and strengthened by this experience, I am now working on planning new itineraries, in order to cover all that Normandy has to offer, just for you.
ABOUT MY PARTNER
Born and raised in Cherbourg, Normandy, France, where she lived until she graduated from High School, my mother and partner Dominique then lived in Paris for 7 years, attending college in Paris, studies mostly focused on oriental languages at INALCO Paris, and hosting & tourism at EIHT Paris. She then returned to Normandy and after a few years decided to move to the USA where she stayed 5 years, one year in Colorado and 4 years in California.
Well traveled, it’s her passion for languages since childhood and strong curiosity about different cultures that had her chose the tourism industry, and the deep connection and affection for her native region and its rich history brought her back « home » to Normandy, and for the first 3 years as a tour guide she was conducting tours of the WWII D-Day Battlefields for a highly reputable company.
Then, as of fall 2014, she have decided to become an independent guide and offer her services for a unique experience in her beloved region.
